Customization & consulting delivery

Customization and consulting are ~half of all revenue (see What converts). This is the recapture engine, not a side line.

Every model can be customized. If a project needs a feature the standard build does not cover, Justin builds it in. Billed hourly. Price depends on scope and is set after a short scoping conversation.

Common paid custom/extended work:

  • Inputting a client’s specific project (Justin on Zoom while the client enters data).
  • Analyzing results, running scenarios, preparing investor walkthroughs.
  • Walking investors through the model on Zoom alongside the client.
  • Offering Memorandum (OM) preparation: setting up and formatting OMs with model outputs.
  • Pitch deck preparation: investor/fundraising decks built around model outputs.
  • Debugging one-off errors inside a customized build.

CFO and FP&A are industry-agnostic. RE Analyst is real-estate-only. FP&A works with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Yardi, AppFolio and most accounting/PM platforms; the Excel layer pulls from the client’s system of record, no migration to start.

  2. Justin replies to first contact within 24 hours.
  3. Justin proposes a structure: hourly, monthly retainer, or fixed-fee project. If the situation does not fit a standard structure, he works out a fit during scoping.
  4. Most engagements begin within a week.

Many clients start with a defined project and convert to a retainer once they see the value of an always-available analytical layer. Engagement output is anchored by TILT’s modeling stack so it is structurally consistent with the models TILT ships.
